Meet Bibbi Bibbles, the founder and CEO of DOGWAY Dog Rescue Society. Bibbi was dropped off at a high-kill shelter and was scheduled for euthanization. The shelter manager agreed to spare his life if Bibbi could live out his days at a rescue sanctuary.

I loved his joyful spirit, his fearless sense of adventure, his incredible curiosity, his unconditional loyalty and his immeasurable capacity for love. Bibbi was my canine soulmate.
Unfortunately, his tiny body had suffered much abuse prior to coming to me; my vet was unable to save him. I was out of town rescuing a pregnant Rottie when my vet called to tell me that Bibbi was on life support. I asked the vet to whisper in Bibbi's little ear "You will conquer the universe with your cuteness!" Bibbi sailed away into the light. He was so young when he left us to cross the Rainbow Bridge, and I was grief-stricken.
When I got home, there was a tiny shoebox on my front stairs. I opened it and lifted my Bibbi out and held him in my arms so close to my chest, and for a brief moment, I felt a heart beat through his body. I savoured that magical moment. But, as reality kicked in, I realized it was my own heart beating through Bibbi's lifeless vessel. I looked up into the clouds, in the darkening sky, and made Bibbi a promise that I would do something wonderful in his memory. The next day as I picked wild orchids to line Bibbi's grave, I was inspired to honour his memory with a lasting legacy and thus, four like-minded individuals joined me to create and incorporate DOGWAY Dog Rescue Society.
Today, thousands of wild orchids grow over Bibbi's grave and into the adjacent field. As of today, thousands of dogs have been rescued because of Bibbi's legacy.
Our sanctuary welcomes the unwanted and heals the sick. Those dogs who cannot be healed will spend their final days in a comfortable, loving environment. DOGWAY provides each rescue dog in our sanctuary with the opportunity to be unconditionally loved so that they can learn to trust again.
"Bibbi, you little mischief, I will love you beyond forever!"
